At the status conference today, Judge Wettick chose not to hold the County Executive in contempt, but he also chose to delay a decision on whether to use the new assessment numbers for 2012 until Thursday. Judge Wettick is still considering the request made by counsel for the Pittsburgh Public Schools to continue to use the 2002 numbers for one more year so that the school district would not have to worry about setting millage rates until after taxpayers have had an opportunity to appeal their assessments.
